can I ask why you didn't drain the grease off of the ground beef after cooking? I would be afraid of too much grease

Also, shredded cabbage is great for this. Adds more crunch than lettuce.

  15. Mrbink01 says:

Shred your own cheese. It melts better, it's cheaper, and there's no cellulose or starch added. It really doesn't take much time.

  16. Mrbink01 says:

I like to use poblano peppers…more flavor, fewer carbs

  17. kathy callahan says:

I think I'm going to make this for some meal prep next week. I'm the only one trying to do low carb, and I'm getting mad when I make something similar to by carb-loving family, and they eat my stuff! I made an entire pan of regular nachos with one small portion low carb (pork rinds) and of course my hubby eats it. But this would be something great I could make, portion into small containers, and eat throughout the week while they eat their fish sticks or whatever.

  19. Harrrgh says:

    Yum!

  26. nriquedigita says:

Packages Shredded cheese is a Keto NO-NO…They add Silicone to the cheese to keep it from clumping back together in the bag. So, if anyone is using shredded cheese it's highly recommended to stop.
Other than that I'm going to try this…
