    I can easily do intermittent fasting with 2 hour eating window when I have carbs with it. But when I try to do keto + IF I just go on a binge mode for three weeks straight. I don't know whats the problem, expect that I am always super stressed which can cause intensive sugar cravings. But doing IF with sugar = no weight loss…..:/ so it's a lose-lose situation for me.

    Fruits are still sugar, sometimes a lot more than candy. This diet is great for diabetics but if your eating bread, pasta, fruit it isnโ€™t a ketogenic diet, it is just a low carb diet.And I do know since Iโ€™ve lost 100 pounds since May 2017 strict keto and exercise. 20 grams or less of carbs a day, moderate protein and high fat.

    Okay, I only started this channel a few minutes ago… literally.

    First recommendation! Keto Diet isnโ€™t something to do intensely.

    When your body is in Ketosis, it is progressing towards a slow metabolism. You get thinner because you eat a smaller amount of fattening things but your body is getting little with little time to adjust. If you do this for awhile, your metabolism will have slowed down enough to be completely unprepared for any kind of break. Meaning, with awhile on the Keto diet, your body will gain pretty much anything it can get upon a break.

    Your bodyโ€™s metabolism slows down drastically when fattening/high carb foods are brought to minimum so abruptly, and therefore will store all it can get, meaning that you can gain weight quickly when you โ€œreward yourself.โ€

    I would recommend that if you go into the Keto diet, you donโ€™t do it until you have done a slow progression into exercise and be careful when dieting.

    My parents have been trying to lose weight, so I have done research online and with my school on various methods. My dad almost got into some unhealthy positions because of some methods. But (ima be a little advertisement here) he was able to lose 8 pounds in two weeks (he is okay, he has a fast metabolism. I have been told it seems unhealthy but heโ€™s good ๐Ÿ‘) using Isagenix shakes and going on daily walks.
