  • How to get through headaches? (Been trying since Jan. I take salt substitute, CALM mg, Himalayan salt, and water (I probably could use more– but always hard bc I'm having to pee and I watch kids)). The headaches are so terrible and long lasting that I cave and have carbs and they go away.
    To note– I don't do any sugar alcohols like erythritol bc they give me headaches.
    I am taking in enough calories 1200-1600 daily. But these headaches. I really need to lose weight, any advice greatly appreciated.

  • I didn't set out being curious about keto eating wanting to lose weight. I am at optimal weight for my height. When I decided to drink some 1 tbsp coconut oil, the very next day I lost 0.7 kg. I felt satiated, satisfied. I do it regularly now because previously on veggies only, I felt my brain wasn't doing as well i feel it could, on veggies alone, plus some supplementation. Brain fuel is the reason I'm continuing with the oil. I want to add some more healthy oils, like avocado (maybe learn to make hummus), olive oil (for stirfrying veggies), even butter (yo, this one I always take it feeling like "am I going to have a heart attack!"). The carbo is pretty much from veggies; not helpful for me to count them bc I am a small eater anyway. Hmm, maybe I might try brown rice drenched in olive oil or butter when I'm too lazy to stirfry veggies!! whoo! Will I die sooner … ?
